राज्यपाल बंडारू दत्तात्रेय की अध्यक्षता में राज्य के सरकारी विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपति व कुलसचिवों के साथ आयोजित बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल ने कहा कि शिक्षा समाज की उन्नति और भविष्य को सुरक्षित करने वाला निवेश है जिससे राष्ट्र के हर व्यक्ति के जीवन में उजियारा आता है। उन्होंने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय यह संकल्प लें कि नई शिक्षा नीति का समाज के हर नागरिकों को लाभ मिले और इस नीति को लागू करने के लिए बनाए गए पैरामीटर पर खरा उतरने की कोशिश करें।
साथ ही प्रत्येक चरण में नई शिक्षा नीति की समीक्षा करें और इसके लक्ष्यों को पाने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास करें।बैठक में उच्चतर शिक्षा मंत्री मूलचंद शर्मा ने कहा कि नई शिक्षा नीति में युवा स्वावलंबी बनने के साथ साथ रोजगार देने में भी सक्षम बनेंगे। सरकार ने उच्चतर शिक्षा के लिए युवा पीढ़ी को नई दिशा व दशा देने के लिए बेहतरीन कार्य किया है।
