हरियाणा के खेल मंत्री सरदार संदीप सिंह ने कहा है कि प्रदेश में जिन खेल फैडरेशनों, एसोसिएशनों या किसी अन्य खेल संस्था द्वारा उचित प्रबंध किए बगैर खेलों का आयोजन करवाया जाएगा, उनके खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी। खिलाडिय़ों के लिए समुचित सुविधाओं का ख्याल किए बिना अगर ऐसी संस्थाएं या आयोजक चेतावनी के बावजूद खेलों का आयोजन करवाने से बाज नहीं आई तो भविष्य में उनके ऊपर बैन लगाकर पदाधिकारियों पर कार्रवाई भी की जा सकती है।
खेल मंत्री ने हाल ही में जींद में आयोजित की जा रही हॉकी प्रतियोगिता के दौरान खिलाडिय़ों के ठहरने व खाने-पीने से संबंधित मीडिया में आई खबरों पर कड़ा संज्ञान लेते हुए कहा है कि भविष्य में ऐसी लापरवाही कतई बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी।राज्य सरकार जहां खेलों को बढ़ावा देकर खिलाडिय़ों को आगे बढऩे के लिए हर सुविधा उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए प्रतिबद्घ है वहीं कुछ खेल संस्थाएं बिना तैयारी व सुविधाओं के खेलों का आयोजन करवा कर हरियाणा की छवि धूमिल कर रही हैं।
हॉकी ओलंपियन रहे सरदार संदीप सिंह ने जींद में ‘हॉकी हरियाणा’ संस्था द्वारा करवाए गए खेलों के आयोजन में बरती गई लापरवाही पर कड़ी नाराजगी जताते हुए कहा है कि उनको मीडिया के माध्यम से जो सूचना मिली है, उसके अनुसार खिलाडिय़ों के लिए न तो ठरहने का अच्छा प्रबंध था और न ही खाने-पीने व टॉयलेट आदि की सुविधा। उन्होंने कहा कि जब तक खिलाड़ी को अच्छा खाना, ठहरने के लिए आरामदायक जगह नहीं मिलेगी तब तक वह अपना सौ-प्रतिशत नहीं दे सकता। क्योंकि वे स्वयं खिलाड़ी रहे हैं, इसलिए एक खिलाड़ी के दर्द को बखूबी समझते हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रतियोगिता के आयोजक अगर राज्य सरकार या खेल विभाग से खेलों के आयोजन के लिए सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाने का अनुरोध करते तो उनकी सरकार की ओर से पूरी मदद की जाती। प्रदेश सरकार राज्य में खिलाडिय़ों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए हर समय तत्पर रहती है, इसके बावजूद किसी खेल संस्था द्वारा आधी-अधूरी तैयारी से आयोजन करती है तो भविष्य में उसके खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
खेल मंत्री सरदार संदीप सिंह ने कहा कि किसी भी व्यक्ति या संस्था को हरियाणा में खेल को खराब करने की इजाजत नहीं दी जाएगी। नियमों का पालन करने तथा खेल व खिलाडिय़ों की हर सुविधा को ध्यान में रखकर खेलों का आयोजन करवाने वाले लोगों को प्रदेश सरकार भी पूरी सहायता करेगी तथा उसको प्रोत्साहन दिया जाएगा।
