ऋषिकेश खानपुर विधायक एवं निर्दलीय सांसद प्रत्याशी उमेश कुमार एक ओर तो खादर और बांगर की 11 सीट पर अपने रोड शो और चुनावी सभाओ से अपने चुनावी अभियान को आगे बढ़ा रहे है तो वही डोईवाला, ऋषिकेश , धर्मपुर में भी उमेश कुमार को अपार जन समर्थन मिल रहा है ।
बुधवार को हुए ऋषिकेष में उमेश कुमार ने रोड शो कर सबको चोंका दिया । गुमानी वाला से शुरू होकर ये रोड शो त्रिवेणी घाट तक पहुंचा जिसमे उमेश कुमार को भारी जन समर्थन मिला ।
कहा जाता है जिसने हरिद्वार लोकसभा क्षेत्र की 11 सेट सहित अन्य तीन सीट जिसमें डोईवाला ऋषिकेश और धर्मपुर सीट शामिल है उन पर जन समर्थन हासिल कर लिया तो उसे चुनाव में हारने वाला कोई नहीं होता इसी कड़ी में उमेश कुमार के द्वारा डोईवाला धर्मपुर और ऋषिकेश में अपने मजबूत कदम जमा लिए हैं ।
इसी कड़ी में उमेश कुमार के द्वारा ऋषिकेश विधानसभा के गुमानीवाला से इस रोड को शुरू किया गया और त्रिवेणी घाट पर इसी दौरान उमेश कुमार का जगह-जगह भव्य स्वागत किया गया खास बात यह रही कि इस रोड शो में सबसे अधिक महिलाओं की भागीदारी थी उमेश कुमार की इन तीन सीटों पर अभी तक धमाका धमाकेदार एंट्री हो चुकी है और सबसे ज्यादा समर्थन उमेश कुमार को ऋषिकेश विधानसभा से मिलना है राजनीतिक पंडितों का मानना है कि तीनों सीटों में उमेश कुमार को ऋषिकेश सीट से सबसे ज्यादा समर्थन प्राप्त होगा ।
