चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग की अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव शुभ्रा सिंह के निर्देशन में संचालित होने वाले इस अभियान के तहत मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य को लेकर चिकित्सा संस्थानों में उपलब्ध करवाई जा रही स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं, मौसमी बीमारियों, लू-तापघात व गर्मी जनित बीमारियों के प्रबंधन संबंधी तैयारियों का सघन निरीक्षण किया जाएगा। अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव से लेकर ब्लॉक स्तरीय अधिकारी चिकित्सा संस्थानों का एक साथ निरीक्षण करेंगे।
अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव ने बताया कि गुरूवार को प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान दिवस एवं मातृ शिशु स्वास्थ्य पोषण दिवस एक साथ हैं। इस अवसर पर चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग की ओर से मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य तथा परिवार कल्याण सेवाओं का सघन निरीक्षण किया जाएगा। साथ ही, मातृ स्वास्थ्य एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य को लेकर आमजन को जागरूक भी किया जाएगा।
सिंह ने बताया कि मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की दृष्टि से 27 आकांक्षी ब्लॉक का विशेष निरीक्षण करने के लिए राज्य स्तर से टीमों का गठन किया गया है। मुख्यालय से जाने वाली यह टीमें संबंधित जिले में आंकाक्षी ब्लॉक के साथ ही एक अन्य ब्लॉक का निरीक्षण करेंगी और आगामी कार्य दिवस पर अपनी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करेंगी। यह टीमें बांसवाड़ा, बारां, बाड़मेर, भरतपुर, बीकानेर, बूंदी, चित्तौड़गढ़, चूरू, दौसा, धौलपुर, डूंगरपुर, गंगापुर सिटी, हनुमानगढ़, जैसलमेर, जालोर, झालावाड़, जोधपुर ग्रामीण, करौली, कोटपूतली-बहरोड़, नागौर, पाली, प्रतापगढ़, राजसमंद, शाहपुरा, सिरोही, टोंक एवं उदयपुर के 27 आकांक्षी ब्लॉक्स एवं एक अन्य ब्लॉक का निरीक्षण करेंगी।
निदेशक आरसीएच डॉ. सुनीत सिंह राणावत ने बताया कि निरीक्षण के दौरान चिकित्सा संस्थान के भवन की स्थिति, साफ-सफाई, प्रसूति नियोजन दिवस, गर्भवती महिलाओं की प्रसव पूर्व स्वास्थ्य जांच, शिशु टीकाकरण, चिकित्सा संस्थान में उपलब्ध सुविधाओं तथा मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य को लेकर चिकित्सा संस्थान की उपलब्धि आदि को देखा जाएगा। इसके आधार पर तैयार रिपोर्ट के अनुसार सुविधाओं को और बेहतर बनाने की कार्ययोजना तैयार की जाएगी। निरीक्षण के दौरान चिकित्सा संस्थानों की मौसमी बीमारियों एवं लू व तापघात से निपटने की तैयारियों का भी अवलोकन किया जाएगा।
