राजस्थान में लोकसभा आम चुनाव-2024 के तहत दूसरे चरण वाले 13 लोकसभा क्षेत्रों में ग्रामीण क्षेत्र की महिलाएं शहरी क्षेत्र की महिलाओं से मतदान करने में आगे रही, वहीं शहरी क्षेत्र के पुरुषों ने ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के पुरुषों से अधिक मतदान किया।
मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी प्रवीण गुप्ता ने बताया कि शहरी क्षेत्रों की 63.64 प्रतिशत महिलाओं ने मतदान किया जबकि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में 64.47 प्रतिशत महिलाओं ने मतदान किया। इसी तरह शहरी क्षेत्र में पुरुष मतदाता आगे रहे। शहरी क्षेत्र के पुरुष मतदाताओं ने 67.67 प्रतिशत जबकि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के पुरुषों ने 65.22 प्रतिशत मतदान किया। शहरी क्षेत्र के 56.33% थर्ड जेंडर मतदाताओं ने जबकि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में 40% थर्ड जेंडर मतदाता ने मतदान किया है।
गुप्ता ने बताया कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के कुल 64.86% मतदाताओं ने मतदान किया जबकि शहरी क्षेत्र के कुल 65.69 प्रतिशत मतदाताओं ने मतदान किया। जालौर लोकसभा क्षेत्र से सर्वाधिक 73.55% शहरी मतदाताओं ने मतदान किया। बाड़मेर लोकसभा क्षेत्र से सर्वाधिक 76.58 ग्रामीण मतदाताओं ने मतदान किया। बांसवाड़ा लोकसभा क्षेत्र से 74.58 ग्रामीण मतदाता होने मतदान किया।
