लखनऊ पांच जून को उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ का जन्मदिन है। चार जून को लोकसभा चुनाव समेत उत्तर प्रदेश के विधानसभा उप चुनाव का भी परिणाम घोषित होगा। अगर एग्जिट पोल के आंकड़ों पर भरोसा करें तो योगी को जन्मदिन के पहले जीत का तोहफामिल सकता है।
लोकसभा चुनाव के साथ उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा की चार सीटों पर उपचुनाव हुये हैं। जिनचार सीटों पर उपचुनाव हुए हैं, उनमें से तीन पर भाजपा और एक पर सपा ने विधानसभा चुनाव-2022 में जीत हासिल की थी। हाल के उपचुनावों के परिणाम पर नजर डालें तो गोला गोकर्णनाथ,रामपुर और छानबे विधानसभा सीट पर मतदाताओं ने योगी के विकास पर बटन दबाया तो लोकसभा उपचुनाव में एक तरफ आजम का गढ़ ढहाया।
2022 विधानसभा चुनाव में ददरौल से मानवेंद्र सिंह ने कमल के निशान पर जीत हासिल की थी।उनके निधन के उपरांत यहां उपचुनाव में पार्टी ने उनके पुत्र अरविंद सिंह को मैदान में उतारा है।योगी ने अरविंद के लिए चुनाव प्रचार भी किया। लखनऊ पूर्वी से विधायक, पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री वभाजपा के कद्दावर नेता आशुतोष टंडन गोपाल के निधन से यह सीट रिक्त हो गई। पार्टी ने यहांसे ओपी श्रीवास्तव को प्रत्याशी बनाया तो योगी ने उनका हाथ थामकर मतदाताओं से कमल खिलाने अपील की। आम चुनाव में सोनभद्र की दुद्धि सीट भी भाजपा के रामदुलार पर मतदाताओं नेदुलार दिखाया,
लेकिन यह सीट रिक्त होने से यहां भी उपचुनाव हुआ। यहां से भाजपा प्रत्याशी श्रवण कुमार गोंड के लिए भी मुख्यमंत्री ने पसीना बहाते हुए दो-दो बार जनसभा की। वहीं गैंसड़ीविधानसभा से सपा विधायक शिवप्रताप यादव के निधन के उपरांत हुए उपचुनाव में भाजपा ने पूर्व विधायक शैलेष कुमार सिंह शैलू को टिकट दिया। योगी ने विकास के बलबूते उनके लिए वोट मांगा।गोला गोकर्णनाथ, रामपुर, स्वार टांडा और छानबे विधानसभा सीटों पर उपचुनाव हुआ।
गोकर्णनाथ में विधायक अरविंद गिरि के निधन के उपरांत उप चुनाव में भाजपा ने उनके पुत्र अमनगिरि को टिकट दिया। सीएम योगी ने उपचुनाव में भी जनता से भाजपा के पक्ष में अपील की तो अमन जीतकर लखनऊ पहुंचे। वहीं स्वार टांडा में भाजपा की सहयोगी अपना दल (एस) ने शफीक अंसारी पर विश्वास जताया और छानबे सीट पर अपना दल एस विधायक राहुल कोल के निधन केउपरांत उनकी पत्नी रिंकी कोल को टिकट मिला। योगी ने सहयोगी दलों के दोनों प्रत्याशियों के लिएन सिर्फ वोट मांगा, बल्कि जीत की रणनीति भी तय की।
परिणाम रहा कि विधानसभा उपचुनाव की यह दोनों सीट भी सहयोगी दल ने जीती। वहीं 8 दिसंबर 2022 को रामपुर में हुए उपचुनाव में दसबार के विधायक आजम खां का किला ढह गया और आकाश सक्सेना चुनाव जीते। वहीं विधानपरिषद के उपचुनावों में भी कमल का कमाल बरकरार रहा।लक्ष्मण आचार्य के राज्यपाल व बनवारीलाल दोहरे के निधन के कारण रिक्त हुए उपचुनाव में भी भाजपा के पद्मसेन चौधरी व मानवेंद्र सिंहने जीत हासिल की।
सपा सुप्रीमो अखिलेश यादव ने अपने भाई धर्मेंद्र यादव को रण की भूमि में छोड़ दिया तो योगी आदित्यनाथ ने भाजपा के निरहुआ; का हाथ थामे रखा और उन्हें जीत दिलाकर दिल्ली भेज दिया।यहां योगी के भेदभाव रहित कार्यों की बदौलत दिनेश लाल यादव 312768 वोट (34.39 फीसदी)पाए, जबकि धर्मेंद्र यादव 304089 वोट ( 33.44 फीसदी) ही पा सके।
