सचिव मुख्यमंत्री डॉ.आर.मीनाक्षी सुंदरम गंगोत्री-यमुनोत्री धाम की यात्रा व्यवस्था की मॉनीटरिंग के लिए उत्तरकाशी जिले के भ्रमण पर हैं। इस दौरान उन्होंने गंगोत्री धाम एवं इसके अनेक पड़ावों का निरीक्षण कर यात्रा व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा लिया।
उन्होंने तीर्थयात्रियों से यात्रा सुविधाओं के बारे में फीडबैक लेने के साथ ही यात्रा से जुड़े विभिन्न हितधारकों के साथ बैठक कर कहा कि चारधाम यात्रा को सुगम, सुरक्षित और सुव्यवस्थित बनाए रखने के शासन-प्रशासन के द्वारा सभी जरूरी कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं।
सचिव मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि धामों व यात्रा मार्गों पर अनावश्यक भीड़-भाड़ से अव्यवस्था न हो इसके लिए यह सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है कि बिना पंजीकरण के और पंजीकरण के तय दिन से इतर अन्य दिनों में आने वाले लोगों को यात्रा करने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि चारधाम यात्रा हमारी आस्था, पहचान और आर्थिकी से जुड़ी है, लिहाजा हम सबका यही प्रयास रहना चाहिए कि यात्री यहां से बेहतर अनुभव लेकर जाएं और चारधाम यात्रा पर कोई प्रतिकूल प्रभाव भी न पड़े। सचिव मुख्यमंत्री डॉ.आर. मीनाक्षी सुंदरम ने देर सायं जिला मुख्यालय पहॅुचने पर अधिकारियों और होटल तथा यात्रा से जुड़े व्यवसायियों के संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों के साथ बैठक कर यात्रा व्यवस्था को लेकर उनके सुझावों को सुना।
बैठक में जिलाधिकारी डॉ. मेहरबान सिंह बिष्ट एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक अर्पण यदुवंशी ने वाहनों के दबाव के कारण जाम की समस्या से निपटने के लिए लागू की गई व्यवस्था के बारे में जानकारी दी। बैठक में सचिव सुंदरम ने बताया कि इस बार रिकॉर्ड संख्या में यात्रियों के आने से व्यवस्था बनाने में कुछ समस्याएं आई लेकिन इनका तात्कालिक समाधान सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है। इसके साथ ही दीर्घकालिक उपायों पर भी प्रमुखता से ध्यान दिया जा रहा है। बैठक के उपरांत महानिदेशक सूचना, बंशीधर तिवाड़ी ने पत्रकारों से वार्ता कर चारधाम यात्रा व्यवस्था के बारे वार्ता की।
