SJVN की अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक और CSR फाउंडेशन की अध्यक्ष गीता कपूर ने इन सम्मानों की चर्चा करते हुए कहा कि ये पुरस्कार नवोन्मेषी और ठोस CSR पहलों के माध्यम से सकारात्मक परिवर्तन के लिए SJVN की प्रतिबद्धता प्रदर्शित करते हैं।
उन्होंने रेखांकित किया कि कंपनी ने लगातार तीसरे वर्ष ये प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार अर्जित किए हैं। गीता कपूर ने कहा, समाज के प्रति योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किए जाने पर हम अत्यंत गौरवान्वित हैं और सार्थक प्रभाव सृजित करने के अपने प्रयत्नों को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए हम समर्पित रहेंगे।
SJVN की सभी CSR पहल पंजीकृत ट्रस्ट SJVN फाउंडेशन के माध्यम से की जाती हैं। अभी तक, कंपनी शिक्षा और कौशल विकास, स्वास्थ्य और स्वच्छता, अवसंरचना विकास और सामुदायिक संपत्ति निर्माण, सतत विकास, प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के दौरान सहायता, स्थानीय संस्कृति तथा खेल के संरक्षण और संवर्धन के क्षेत्रों से जुड़े विभिन्न CSR कार्यकलापों पर 450 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक व्यय कर चुकी है।
