स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग द्वारा नवाचार करते हुए गर्मी की छुट्टियों में विद्यार्थियों के लिए समर कैंप जन सहयोग से आयोजित किया जाएगा यह कैंप सुबह 7.00 से 9.30 बजे आयोजित किया जाएगा यह पूर्णत स्वैच्छिक रहेगा।
स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग के सचिव सिध्दार्थ कोमल सिंह परदेशी ने सभी जिलों के कलेक्टर को जारी किए गए निर्देश में कहा गया है कि 15 जून तक विद्यालयों में ग्रीष्मकालीन अवकाश प्रभावी है। इस दौरान छात्र-छात्राओं को रचनात्मक गतिविधियों में संलग्न कर उनमें बहुमुखी कौशल का विकास किया जा सकता है। रचनात्मक गतिविधियों में छात्र-छात्राओं के पालक एवं उनके शिक्षकों का मार्गदर्शन सहयोगी हो सकता है।
अतः छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए स्कूलों में अथवा गांव शहर के सामुदायिक भवनों में समर कैंप का आयोजन किया जाए। इस कैंप में रचनात्मक क्षेत्र के विशेषज्ञ को आमंत्रित कर उनसे मार्गदर्शन प्रशिक्षण दिलाया जा सकता है। इसमें पालक व शाला विकास समितियां का भी सहयोग लिया जा सकता है। परदेशी ने निर्देश दिया कि समर कैंप में चित्रकला, गायन, वादन, निबंध, कहानी-लेखन, हस्तलिपि-लेखन, नृत्य, खेल-कूद, अपने गांव शहर का ऐतिहासिक परिचय आदि गतिविधियां आयोजित की जा सकती है।
इन गतिविधि के अलावा अन्य रचनात्मक गतिविधि का भी चयन किया जा सकता है। स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग की ओर से यह स्पष्ट किया गया है कि इस हेतु कोई भी बजट देय नहीं होगा। जिले अपने उपलब्ध संसाधनों का उपयोग कर इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाएंगे। परदेशी ने कहा कि ग्रीष्म कालीन अवकाश को बच्चों के सीखने के लिए अवसर के रूप में प्रयुक्त किया जाए।
