गृह रक्षा संगठन के 62 वें स्थापना दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में स्वच्छ भारत अभियान की मूल भावना ‘एक कदम स्वच्छता की ओर” के अन्तर्गत गुरूवार को निदेशालय गृह रक्षा राजस्थान एवं गृह रक्षा प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र, जयपुर द्वारा सवाई मान सिंह स्टेडियम में स्वच्छता अभियान चलाया गया।
अभियान में गृह रक्षा के अधिकारियो, कर्मचारियों व लगभग 300 होमगार्डस की टीम ने सवाई मान सिंह स्टेडियम के पूरे परिसर में फैली गंदगी और कूड़े-कचरे को साफ किया और स्टेडियम को एक स्वच्छ एवं सुन्दर रूप दिया।
इस अवसर पर महानिरीक्षक पुलिस (गृह रक्षा) सन्दीप सिंह चौहान, उप महासमादेष्टा (गृह रक्षा) विजय सिंह भाम्मू कमाण्डेन्ट गृह रक्षा प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र जयपुर, सचिव, राजस्थान राज्य क्रिडा परीषद जयपुर तथा राजस्थान राज्य क्रीडा परिषद के अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों ने परिसर की सफाई कर टीम को प्रोत्साहित किया।
स्वच्छता के इस अभियान में नगर निगम ग्रेटर जयपुर और नगर निगर हैरीटेज जयपुर की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही। इसी पहल के तहत गृह रक्षा प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र जयपुर के उपकेन्द्र फुलेरा के स्वयं सेवकों द्वारा देवयानी सरोवर, सांभर लेक फुलेरा के परिसर को भी साफ किया। गृह रक्षा विभाग ने स्वच्छता के माध्यम से समाज में एक सकारात्मक संदेश देने का प्रयास किया है।
