पंजाब के लोक निर्माण मंत्री स. हरभजन सिंह ETO ने विभाग के अधिकारियों को स्टडी टूर पर भेजने के लिए प्रस्ताव तैयार करने का हुक्म दिया है। वह आज यहाँ पंजाब राज्य रोड एंड ब्रिजस डिवैल्पमैंट बोर्ड (पी. आर. बी. डी. बी.) के अधिकारियों की एक उच्च स्तरीय मीटिंग की अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे।
उन्होंने कहा कि इन अधिकारियों को टिकाऊ किस्म की सड़कों के निर्माण और रख रखाव सम्बन्धी शैक्षिक टूर पर भेजने के लिए प्रस्ताव तैयार किया जाये और अधिकारियों को उन विदेशी मुल्कों में भेजा जाये जोकि सड़क निर्माण, रख-रखाव और सड़क सुरक्षा के मामले में अग्रणी हैं।
मीटिंग के दौरान उन्होंने बोर्ड के अधिकारियों को हिदायत की कि वह 30. 06. 2025 तक राज्य मार्गों से पैट्रोल पंपों और अन्य व्यापारिक अदारों को पहुँच मार्ग की सेवा के लिए बनती सरकारी फ़ीसों की प्राप्ति के बारे रिपोर्ट पेश करने के भी हुक्म दिए।
इस दौरान उन्होंने यह भी हिदायत की कि राज्य की सड़कों पर पहचाने गए ब्लैक स्पॉट्स को ठीक करने के लिए कार्य में तेज़ी लाई जाये और इस सम्बन्धी पेश आ रही समस्याओं को हल करने के लिए पंजाब राज्य सड़क सुरक्षा परिषद के साथ भी तालमेल किया जाये।
उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान के नेतृत्व वाली पंजाब सरकार राज्य में बेहतरीन सड़क नैटवर्क स्थापित करने के लिए लगातार प्रयत्नशील है
