पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार ने कोलकाता के पांच प्रमुख सरकारी अस्पतालों में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और बुनियादी ढांचे को मजबूत करने के लिए बड़ा अभियान शुरू किया है। इसके तहत अस्पताल परिसरों में निगरानी बढ़ाने, प्रवेश नियंत्रण सख्त करने और रात में संयुक्त गश्त की व्यवस्था लागू की जा रही है।
सरकारी अधिकारियों के अनुसार अस्पतालों में सरकारी संपत्ति को नुकसान पहुंचाने की घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए कड़ी पुलिस निगरानी जारी रहेगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि अस्पताल की संपत्ति को नुकसान पहुंचाने वालों पर भारी जुर्माना और कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
नई व्यवस्था के तहत सभी अस्पतालों में वायरलेस संचार प्रणाली लगाई जाएगी ताकि आपात स्थिति में तुरंत समन्वय स्थापित किया जा सके।
अस्पतालों के अधीक्षक और प्राचार्य स्थानीय थानों, डिविजनल कंट्रोल रूम के साथ सीधे संपर्क में रहेंगे।
सरकार ने अस्पतालों को अग्नि सुरक्षा व्यवस्था मजबूत करने के भी निर्देश दिए हैं।
फायर एक्सटिंग्विशर और हाइड्रेंट हर समय तैयार रखे जाएंगे तथा अग्निशमन विभाग के साथ समन्वय बनाए रखा जाएगा।
अस्पताल परिसरों में पुलिस और निजी सुरक्षा कर्मियों की संयुक्त रात्रि गश्त भी शुरू की जाएगी।
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि पांचों अस्पतालों में सुरक्षा गार्डों की संख्या बढ़ाई जा रही है।
अस्पतालों के प्रवेश द्वारों पर सख्त जांच होगी और आगंतुकों व मरीजों के परिजनों की स्क्रीनिंग के बाद ही प्रवेश दिया जाएगा।
अब अस्पताल परिसरों में बिना अनुमति आवाजाही नहीं होगी। मरीजों के परिजनों को केवल निर्धारित समय में ही प्रवेश मिलेगा।
इसके अलावा अस्पताल परिसरों में बाहरी वाहनों के प्रवेश पर भी रोक लगाई जाएगी।
सरकार अगले एक महीने के भीतर निजी सुरक्षा गार्डों, एम्बुलेंस संचालकों और अस्पताल से जुड़े अन्य कर्मचारियों का विस्तृत डाटाबेस तैयार करेगी।
अवैध पार्किंग रोकने के लिए भी कदम उठाए गए हैं। केवल मरीजों के परिजनों, डॉक्टरों और स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों के वाहनों को ही अस्पताल परिसर में अनुमति दी जाएगी।
अधिकारियों ने कहा कि अस्पतालों के मुख्य द्वारों के बाहर के क्षेत्रों को हॉकर-मुक्त बनाया जाएगा और डॉक्टरों, नर्सों तथा मरीजों के लिए हेल्पलाइन नंबर प्रमुख स्थानों पर प्रदर्शित किए जाएंगे।
