बस्तर दशहरा समिति की बैठक जगदलपुर जिला कलेक्टोरेट कार्यालय के सभा कक्ष में आयोजित की गई, जिसमें बस्तर दशहरा पर्व को सभी मिलकर उत्साहपूर्वक मनाने तथा सभी व्यवस्थाओं को बेहतर ढंग से सुनिश्चित करने का निर्णय लिया गया।
बस्तर दशहरा समिति की बैठक के बाद पवित्र दशहरा रथ के निर्माण के लिए काटे गए पेड़ों की भरपाई के लिए एक विशेष पहल शुरू की गई। माचकोट रेंज के नकटी सेमरा वन क्षेत्र में कुल 251 पौधे लगाए गए, जिनमें से प्रत्येक पौधा एक पेड़ बस्तर के देवी देवताओं के नाम थीम के तहत बस्तर के देवताओं को समर्पित है। यह अनूठी थीम क्षेत्र के गहरे सांस्कृतिक और धार्मिक संबंध को दर्शाती है।
यह अभियान बस्तर के दशहरा उत्सव की समृद्ध परंपराओं का सम्मान करते हुए पर्यावरण के संरक्षण के प्रति समुदाय की प्रतिबद्धता को परिलक्षित करता है। यह पहल पेड़ों को स्थानीय देवताओं के साथ जोड़कर पर्यावरण संरक्षण के साथ सांस्कृतिक विरासत के एकीकरण को भी दर्शाता है।
