@ दार्जिलिंग पश्चिम बंगाल
पूर्व सैनिक कल्याण विभाग ने पश्चिम बंगाल में दार्जिलिंग के बैंगडूबी आर्मी कैंप में अपने आउटरीच कार्यक्रम के तहत ‘समाधान अभियान’ का आयोजन किया। इस अवसर पर सचिव डॉ. नितेन चंद्रा ने कार्यक्रम के बीच में भूतपूर्व सैन्य कर्मियों के साथ बातचीत की।
उन्होंने भूतपूर्व सैन्य कर्मियों के लिए चलाए जा रहे कल्याणकारी उपायों को और भी बेहतर बनाने के प्रति सरकार की वचनबद्धता की दोहराई।
डॉ. नितेन चंद्रा ने अपने विभाग की विभिन्न कल्याणकारी योजनाओं का लाभ उठाने के दौरान भूतपूर्व सैन्य कर्मियों के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों पर उनकी प्रतिक्रिया मांगी और उनसे प्राप्त हुए विचारों के आधार पर राज्य एवं जिला सैनिक बोर्ड, ईसीएचएस तथा पूर्व सैनिक कल्याण विभाग के तहत अन्य एजेंसियों को पूर्व सैनिकों की समस्याओं का समाधान खोजने के लिए सक्रिय संचार व सहयोग तंत्र स्थापित करने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने भूतपूर्व सैन्य कर्मियों के लिए सरकार के अटूट समर्थन को दोहराया।
‘समाधान अभियान’ पूर्व सैनिक कल्याण विभाग द्वारा पूर्व सैनिकों व उनके परिवारों द्वारा किए गए बलिदानों का सम्मान करने तथा उनके साथ सक्रिय रूप से जुड़ने और विभाग की विभिन्न कल्याणकारी योजनाओं से संबंधित उनकी शिकायतों का समाधान करने की एक पहल है।
‘समाधान अभियान’ अपनी सक्रिय सहभागिता एवं सार्थक संवाद के माध्यम से पूर्व सैनिकों के लिए एक अनुकूल माहौल बनाना चाहता है ताकि वे और आगे बढ़ सकें तथा समाज में अपना सकारात्मक योगदान दे सकें।
इस अभियान के दौरान महानिदेशक पुनर्वास मेजर जनरल एसबीके सिंह ने पूर्व सैनिकों के पुनर्वास के लिए उपलब्ध विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान की। उन्होंने भूतपूर्व सैन्य कर्मियों से उनके लिए उपलब्ध उद्यमिता के अवसरों का लाभ उठाने का भी आह्वान किया। बड़ी संख्या में भूतपूर्व सैन्य कर्मी दार्जिलिंग और पश्चिम बंगाल व बिहार के आसपास के जिलों से समाधान अभियान में भाग लेने के लिए आए। इस अवसर पर स्पर्श पेंशन व स्वास्थ्य सेवा सहित अन्य कार्यों से संबंधित उनकी शिकायतों का समाधान भी किया गया।
