पूर्वी दिल्ली के अक्षरधाम खेल परिसर में Indian Media Welfare Association द्वारा आयोजित इंद्रप्रस्थ कप 2024 पर DDCCA की टीम ने डीआरडीओ की टीम को हराकर कब्ज़ा कर लिया ! रोमांचक मैच में मैच कभी इस पाले में तो कभी उस पाले में जाता नजर आया आखिर जीत का सिरमौर डीडीसीपीए के सिर बंधा !
प्रत्येक वर्ष की भांति इंदप्रस्थ कप में 8 टीमों ने हिस्सा लिया था, फ़ाइनल मैच में डीआरडीओ ने ट्रॉस जीता ओर पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए 19. 5 ओवर में 128 रन बनाए, जबकि DDCCA ने जबाब में 15 ओवर में ही लक्ष्य भेद जीत दर्ज की ! सुमित नयन ने इस मैच में 73 रन 8 चौके ओर 5 छक्कों की मदद से बनाए, सुमित नयन को मेन ऑफ़ था मैच बनाया गया ! मैच काफी रोमांचक था डीआरडीओ की तरफ से मनोज रावत ने 43 रन, सतवीर ने 25, संजय ने 11 रन देकर 2 विकेट ली !
DDCCA की तरफ से सुमित नयन नाबाद 73 रन, पवन आर्य ने 17 रन देकर 3 विकेट, विपिन सिंह ने 19 रन देकर 2 विकेट, संजय ने 20 रन देकर 2 विकेट ली ! मैच में मौजूद दिनेश वर्मा क्रिकेट अकेडमी के कोच दिनेश वर्मा ने इस तरह के रोमांचक मैच काफी कम देखने को मिलते है दोनों टीमों ने बहुत शानदार खेल खेला है !
मैच का आयोजन इंडियन मीडिया वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन और आईडीएचसी सोसायटी द्वारा किया गया। इस मौके पर इम्वा अध्यक्ष राजीव निशाना ने विजेता टीम और उनके सभी खिलाड़ियों को शुभकामनाएं दी। DRDO टीम के कप्तान मनोज रावत ओर DDCCA टीम के कप्तान संजीव कुमार थे जिनके नेतृत्व में दोनों टीम खेली !
