केन्द्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने जिला कुरुक्षेत्र के गांव कैंथला में गुजरात के राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत की देखरेख में की जा रही प्राकृतिक खेती का अवलोकन किया।
इस दौरान शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि देश में प्राकृतिक खेती को बढ़ावा देने के लिए जल्द ही राष्ट्रीय स्तर की एक समिति का गठन किया जाएगा। इस समिति के जरिए देश के किसानों को प्राकृतिक खेती अपनाने के प्रति जागरूक करने के साथ-साथ प्रशिक्षण भी दिया जाएगा।
अगर देश के किसान प्राकृतिक खेती को सही तरीके से अपनाएंगे तो निश्चित ही किसानों को ना केवल अच्छी आय होगी अपितु धरती की उपजाऊ शक्ति को भी बचाया जा सकेगा। इसके साथ ही नागरिकों को बिना दवाई और पेस्टिसाइड के सब्जियां, अनाज और फल मिल पाएगा।
