जन स्वास्थ्य अभियांत्रिकी विभाग के शासन सचिव डॉ समित शर्मा ने वर्तमान में भीषण गर्मी की स्थिति को देखते हुए पानी की निर्बाध आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने एवं पेयजल के प्रभावी प्रबन्धन हेतु सभी फील्ड अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारियों को मुख्यालय पर ही उपस्थित रहने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
साथ ही बिना सक्षम अनुमति के मुख्यालय नहीं छोडेंगे। यदि कोई अधिकारी एवं कार्मिक 3 दिवस से अधिक छुट्टी पर है तो उसे निरस्त किया जायेगा। ज़िले के अधिकारियों एवं कार्मिकों को आगामी आदेशों तक ग्रीष्मकाल में अवकाश स्वीकृत नहीं किया जाएगा किन्तु अति आवश्यक होने पर ज़िले का अधीक्षण अभियंता अधिकतम 3 दिन का अवकाश स्वीकृत कर सकेंगे, जिसकी सूचना मुख्यालय को देनी होगी। अपरिहार्य परिस्थितियों में अधीक्षण अभियंता एवं अतिरिक्त मुख्य अभियंता का अवकाश शासन सचिव स्तर से स्वीकृत किया जाएगा।
शासन सचिव ने बताया कि पीक लोड की स्थिति में बिजली विभाग के अधिकारियों से समन्वय कर डेडिकेटेड फीडर एवं पम्प हाउस की विद्युत आपूर्ति लाईनों में विद्युत आपूर्ति निर्बाध रखेंगे, जिससे विद्युत ट्रिपिंग, फाल्ट आदि के कारण पेयजल आपूर्ति प्रभावित नहीं हो सके। जिन क्षेत्रों में पेयजल आपूर्ति के दौरान डायरेक्ट बूस्टर लगाने के कारण अंतिम छोर के उपभोक्ताओं को पेयजल उपलब्धता में समस्या आ रही है ऐसे क्षेत्रों में विद्युत विभाग के साथ समन्वय स्थापित कर जिला प्रशासन के सहयोग से पेयजल आपूर्ति के दौरान विद्युत आपूर्ति बन्द करवाये जाने कि विकल्प अनुसार कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित करें।
शासन सचिव ने बताया कि गर्मी के दौरान पेयजल संबंधी सभी समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए राज्य स्तर पर 24×7 कंट्रोल रूम स्थापित किया गया है, जिसका नम्बर 0141-2222585 है। इसी प्रकार जिला स्तर पर भी कंट्रोल रूम स्थापित किये गये है, जो प्रातः 6:00 बजे से रात्रि 10:00 बजे तक कार्यशील रहेंगे। विभाग ने प्रत्येक जिले के लिए समस्या समाधान हेतु व्हाट्सएप नंबर भी विभागीय वेबसाइट पर जारी किए हैं जिससे शिकायतकर्ता अपनी शिकायत, नाम, पता, लोकेशन और मोबाइल नंबर उस पर भेज सकते हैं।
राज्य स्तर एवं जिलों में स्थापित कंट्रोल रूम सक्रियता से कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। इसके लिए उनकी नोडल अधिकारियों द्वारा नियमित रूप से मॉनिटरिंग की जाएगी। आमजन को राहत पहुंचाने के लिए इन कंट्रोल रूम नम्बरों का व्यापक प्रचार-प्रसार भी किया जाएगा और इन पर प्राप्त होने वाली शिकायतों का त्वरित और समयबद्ध निस्तारण सुनिश्चित किया जायेगा।
