रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने भारतीय नौसेना के प्रोजेक्ट सीबर्ड के तहत 05 अप्रैल 25 को नौसेना बेस कारवार में बुनियादी ढांचे की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला का उद्घाटन किया।
कारवार की उनकी यात्रा के दौरान 09 पियर्स, अत्याधुनिक समुद्री उपयोगिताओं और ट्रंक सुविधाओं के साथ-साथ नाविकों और रक्षा नागरिकों के लिए 480 आवास इकाइयों सहित 2000 करोड़ रुपये के बुनियादी ढांचे का उद्घाटन किया गया।
इन सुविधाओं और बुनियादी ढांचे का पूरा होना भारत की रक्षा क्षमताओं में एक महत्वपूर्ण मील का पत्थर है और राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा और आत्मनिर्भरता को मजबूत करने की दिशा में एक बड़ी छलांग है।
