एस. आई.आर. गांव के ऑफिस में हेल्प डेस्क बनाए जाएंगे ताकि उन योग्य लोगों की मदद की जा सके जो अलग-अलग वजहों से ड्राफ्ट वोटर लिस्ट में शामिल नहीं हैं। मुख्यमंत्री पिनाराई विजयन ने घोषणा की कि अगर गांव के ऑफिस में कोई सुविधा नहीं है, तो पास के सरकारी ऑफिस में सुविधाएं दी जाएंगी।
हेल्प डेस्क पर जनता को ज़रूरी मदद देने के लिए दो अधिकारियों को टेम्पररी काम की व्यवस्था पर रखा जाएगा। कैबिनेट मीटिंग में संबंधित जिला कलेक्टरों को इसके लिए ज़रूरी सुविधाएं तैयार करने का काम सौंपा गया है। योग्य लोगों की पहचान करने के लिए सीधे ऊंचे इलाकों, तटीय इलाकों और दूसरे पिछड़े इलाकों में पहुंचकर ज़रूरी मदद दी जाएगी।
इसके लिए गांव के अधिकारियों के कहने पर आंगनवाड़ी वर्कर, आशा वर्कर और कुडुंबश्री वर्कर की सेवाओं का इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा। यह पक्का किया जाएगा कि अलग-अलग इंस्टीट्यूशन में पढ़ रहे 18 साल की उम्र पूरी कर चुके लोगों का नाम वोटर लिस्ट में शामिल हो। इसके लिए संबंधित इंस्टीट्यूशन में कैंपेन प्रोग्राम चलाए जाएंगे और ज़रूरी जागरूकता फैलाई जाएगी।
