नोएडा में आयोजित भारतीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार संवर्धन परिषद के प्रमुख खाद्य व्यापार शो, इंडसफूड में दर्शकों को संबोधित करते हुए, पंजाब के पर्यटन, सांस्कृतिक मामले, उद्योग और वाणिज्य, और निवेश प्रोत्साहन मंत्री, तरुणप्रीत सिंह सोंड ने राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कंपनियों के सीईओ और प्रतिनिधियों को पंजाब आने का खुला निमंत्रण दिया। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि पंजाब व्यापार और उद्योग के लिए एक आदर्श वातावरण प्रदान करता है।

इंडसफूड में वैश्विक खाद्य उद्योग का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले 105 देशों के लगभग 3,500 प्रदर्शकों ने भाग लिया। मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में, मंत्री सोंड ने प्रसिद्ध कंपनियों के सीईओ और प्रतिनिधियों को सम्मानित किया और एक ही छत के नीचे वैश्विक व्यापार जगत के नेताओं के सामने पंजाब की उद्योग-अनुकूल नीतियों को प्रदर्शित करने के अवसर पर अपनी संतुष्टि व्यक्त की। विभिन्न कंपनियों के प्रतिनिधियों को संबोधित करते हुए, सोंड ने घोषणा की कि पंजाब सरकार इस नवंबर में पंजाब में एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय खाद्य महोत्सव आयोजित करने की योजना बना रही है।
यह आयोजन खाद्य और संबद्ध क्षेत्रों में काम करने वाली अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कंपनियों को भाग लेने और निवेश के अवसरों का पता लगाने के लिए आमंत्रित करेगा। मंत्री ने निवेश प्रक्रियाओं को आसान बनाने के लिए इन्वेस्ट पंजाब द्वारा सुगम सिंगल-विंडो सिस्टम सहित पंजाब की व्यवसाय-समर्थक पहलों के बारे में भी जानकारी साझा की। उन्होंने निवेशकों को पूर्ण समर्थन और सहायता का आश्वासन दिया, औद्योगिक विकास को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता पर जोर दिया।
सोंड ने जोर देकर कहा कि सीएम भगवंत सिंह मान का विजन पंजाब के खाद्य क्षेत्र को वैश्विक स्तर पर ले जाना है। इसे हासिल करने के लिए, पंजाब सरकार वेरका, सोहना और फाइव रिवर जैसे राज्य के ब्रांडों को अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंचों पर स्थापित करने के लिए ठोस प्रयास कर रही है। उन्होंने पंजाब के उत्पादों की बढ़ती वैश्विक मांग का उल्लेख किया, जो इन पहलों की सफलता को दर्शाता है।
मंत्री सोंड ने पंजाब में निवेश करने में रुचि रखने वाली कंपनियों के प्रतिनिधियों के साथ अलग-अलग बैठकें कीं। उन्होंने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय खाद्य व्यापार शो के आयोजन के लिए टीपीसीआई के अध्यक्ष मोहित सिंगला को भी बधाई दी और व्यापार संबंधों को और मजबूत करने के लिए टीपीसीआई पंजाब चैप्टर स्थापित करने का सुझाव दिया।
पंजाब खाद्य आयोग के अध्यक्ष बाल मुकुंद शर्मा से मिले प्रोत्साहन को स्वीकार करते हुए, सोंड ने कई अंतरराष्ट्रीय कंपनियों और व्यापार जगत के नेताओं को पंजाब में निवेश करने के लिए प्रेरित करने पर संतोष व्यक्त किया।उन्होंने इस आयोजन में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान के लिए केंद्रीय वाणिज्य मंत्रालय की निदेशक मोनिका गौर को विशेष धन्यवाद दिया।
