उत्तराखण्ड राज्य स्थापना के 25 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष्य में 9 नवम्बर को प्रदेशभर में भव्य रजत जयंती उत्सव का आयोजन किया जाएगा। मुख्य राज्य स्तरीय कार्यक्रम देहरादून स्थित फॉरेस्ट रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट (FRI) में आयोजित होगा, जिसमें प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत करेंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने विधानसभा के विशेष सत्र में प्रतिभाग करने के उपरांत सीधे FRI पहुंचकर कार्यक्रम की तैयारियों का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने आयोजन स्थल, सुरक्षा व्यवस्था, दर्शक दीर्घा, यातायात प्रबंधन, सांस्कृतिक मंच और स्वागत तैयारियों की विस्तृत समीक्षा की।
उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि राज्य स्थापना दिवस का यह ऐतिहासिक अवसर गरिमामय और व्यवस्थित तरीके से मनाया जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह आयोजन उत्तराखण्ड की 25 वर्ष की विकास यात्रा, संघर्ष और उपलब्धियों का प्रतीक है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी के सानिध्य में यह रजत जयंती वर्ष समारोह प्रदेश के लिए प्रेरणादायक अवसर होगा।
इस दौरान सचिव डॉ. पंकज कुमार पांडेय, गढ़वाल कमिश्नर विनय शंकर पांडेय, आईजी गढ़वाल राजीव स्वरुप, अपर सचिव बंशीधर तिवारी एवं शासन – प्रशासन के अन्य अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
