दिन की शुरुआत संस्कृतियों के बीच बातचीत: थिएटर के संदर्भ में नाम के इंटरनेशनल थिएटर सेमिनार से हुई। सेमिनार की शुरुआत करते हुए, NSD के डायरेक्टर, चित्तरंजन त्रिपाठी ने कहा: ऐसे समय में जब हमारे प्रधानमंत्री विकसित भारत – एक डेवलप्ड इंडिया – का आह्वान कर रहे हैं, थिएटर उस विज़न को पाने में अहम भूमिका निभा सकता है। थिएटर में सोच को आकार देने की ताकत है, और सिर्फ़ डेवलप्ड सोच ही एक डेवलप्ड देश बना सकती है। हमें इस पर सोचना चाहिए कि कलाकारों और लोगों के बीच सच्चा मेलजोल और सार्थक बातचीत कैसे हो सकती है। असली कल्चरल एक्सचेंज का मतलब यह नहीं है कि कोई अपनी रोशनी जलाकर दूसरे कल्चर पर हावी हो जाए। इसके बजाय, इसे आपसी सम्मान, बातचीत और समझ को बढ़ावा देना चाहिए।

इंडियन क्लासिकल डांस में एक्सपर्ट जर्मन डांसर ऐनी डिट्रिच ने बताया कि कैसे कई कल्चर के साथ जुड़ने से उनकी आर्टिस्टिक जर्नी और पर्सनल ग्रोथ बेहतर हुई है।

दिन की एक खास बात मशहूर फिल्म एक्टर भूमि पेडनेकर के साथ इंटरैक्टिव सेशन था, जिसे चित्तरंजन त्रिपाठी ने मॉडरेट किया। पेडनेकर ने एक अभिनेता के रूप में अपनी शुरुआती चुनौतियों पर विचार किया और फिल्म उद्योग में अभिनेत्रियों की कास्टिंग के आसपास की रूढ़िवादी धारणाओं के बारे में बात की, जिसने उनके करियर की शुरुआत में महत्वपूर्ण चुनौतियां खड़ी कीं।
