मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने उत्तराखंड में खेले जा रहे 38वें नेशनल गेम्स में लॉन बॉल की महिला ट्रिपल स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण पदक जीतने पर बिहार की बेटियों को बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं दी। उन्होंने कहा कि 25 वर्षों के पश्चात् नेशनल गेम्स में बिहार के लिए पहला स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर बिहार की बेटियों ने नया कीर्तिमान स्थापित किया है। इस ऐतिहासिक जीत पर पूरे बिहार को खिलाड़ियों पर गर्व है। साथ ही मुख्यमंत्री ने उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।
मुख्यमंत्री कुमार ने मनेर शरीफ जाकर सूफी संत हजरत मख्दूम शाह कमालुद्दीन अहमद यहया मनेरी के 756वें उर्स के मौके पर बड़ी दरगाह स्थित उनकी मज़ार पर चादरपोशी की। उन्होंने राज्य में सद्भाव, समृद्धि, अमन-चैन और खुशहाली कायम रहने की दुआएं मांगी। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री को टोपी और रूमाल भेंटकर उनका अभिनन्दन किया गया। नीतीश कुमार ने दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनाव में भारतीय जनता पार्टी की भारी बहुमत से जीत पर बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं दी। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली की जनता ने आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री के कुशल नेतृत्व पर अपना पूर्ण विश्वास व्यक्त किया है। इस ऐतिहासिक जीत के लिये आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी को बहुत-बहुत बधाई। पटना के जिलाधिकारी डॉ. चंद्रशेखर सिंह की अध्यक्षता में गुरू गोविंद सिंह अस्पताल के रोगी कल्याण समिति की बैठक हुई। उन्होंने रोस्टर के अनुसार चिकित्सकों एवं पारा मेडिकल स्टाफ की समय से उपस्थिति, रोगियों के प्रति मधुर व्यवहार, निःशुल्क दवाओं की उपलब्धता तथा प्रबंधन में पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिये। सीतामढ़ी के जिलाधिकारी रिची पांडेय की अध्यक्षता में स्वास्थ्य विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक हुई। इस मौके पर उपस्थित सभी पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मियों को टीवी मुक्त भारत के निर्माण में अपना पूरा योगदान देने की शपथ दिलाई गयी। भागलपुर के जिलाधिकारी डॉ. नवल किशोर चौधरी की अध्यक्षता में पंचायत सरकार भवन के निर्माण कार्यों की समीक्षा बैठक हुई। उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों को कार्य में तेजी लाने एवं ससमय पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिये। शिवहर के जिलाधिकारी विवेक रंजन मैत्रेय की अध्यक्षता में मानव व्यापार विरोधी समिति की बैठक हुई। इस मौके पर संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारी एवं समिति के सदस्य मौजूद रहे। मुजफ्फरपुर के जिलाधिकारी सुब्रत कुमार सेन एवं वरीय पुलिस अधीक्षक सुशील कुमार द्वारा शहीद खुदीराम बोस केंद्रीय कारा में बंदी दरबार का आयोजन किया गया। साथ ही उन्होंने कैदी वार्ड / किचेन / स्वास्थ्य सुविधा तथा सुरक्षा मानक के अनुरूप जेल की व्यवस्था का जायजा लिया।
