अपनी यात्रा के दौरान डीआईए के महानिदेशक, तंजानिया पीपल्स डिफेंस फोर्स के चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस स्टाफ, जनरल जैकब जॉन मकुंडा और उनके समकक्ष चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस इंटेलिजेंस, मेजर जनरल एमएन मकेरेमी, सहित तंजानिया के वरिष्ठ सैन्य नेतृत्व के साथ बातचीत करेंगे। तंजानिया राष्ट्रीय रक्षा कॉलेज की अपनी यात्रा के दौरान वे TPDF के भावी नेताओं के साथ भारत के सुरक्षा परिप्रेक्ष्य पर चर्चा करेंगे। इन बैठकों का उद्देश्य आपसी समझ को बढ़ाना और द्विपक्षीय रक्षा सहयोग को मजबूत करना होगा।
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल डीएस राणा भारतीय उच्चायोग, दार एस सलाम में नव स्थापित रक्षा विंग का उद्घाटन भी करेंगे। TPDF के साथ सैन्य सहयोग बढ़ाने की दिशा में सद्भावना के तौर पर वह भारत में निर्मित बुलेट प्रूफ जैकेट भेंट करेंगे। कमांड एंड स्टाफ कॉलेज सीएससी अरूषा में डीजी डीआईए लाइब्रेरी का उद्घाटन करेंगे और व्यायामशाला की आधारशिला रखेंगे, इन सुविधाओं को भारत सरकार की सहायता प्रदान की जा रही है।
भारत के तंजानिया के साथ घनिष्ठ, मधुर और मैत्रीपूर्ण संबंध हैं, जिन्हें गहन क्षमता निर्माण और रक्षा सहयोग के अवसरों से मजबूती प्रदान की गई है। भारतीय सैन्य प्रतिनिधिमंडल की यात्रा से तंजानिया के साथ उन्नत रणनीतिक साझेदारी के और मजबूत होने की उम्मीद है।
