@ चंडीगढ़ पंजाब :-
पंजाब सरकार के मुलाजिमों के मुद्दों को हल करने के लिए बनाई गई कैबिनेट सब-कमेटी द्वारा नगर निगमों की मुलाज़िम यूनियनों के साथ मीटिंगें की गई, जिसमें उनकी माँगों और मुद्दों के बारे व्यापक विचार-विमर्श किया गया। इस मौके पर कैबिनेट सब-कमेटी ने स्थानीय निकाय विभाग को मुलाजिमों की जायज़ माँगों को जल्दी से जल्दी हल करने के लिए व्यावहारिक हल पेश करने में तेज़ी लाने के निर्देश दिए।
मीटिंग की अध्यक्षता वित्त मंत्री हरपाल सिंह चीमा, जो कैबिनेट सब-कमेटी के चेयरमैन भी हैं, ने की। उनके साथ स्थानीय निकाय मंत्री डा. रवजोत सिंह, पूर्व मंत्री और होशियारपुर के विधायक ब्रम शंकर जिम्पा, पूर्व मंत्री और करतारपुर के विधायक बलकार सिंह भी उपस्थित थे। इस मौके पर अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव स्थानीय निकाय तेजवीर सिंह और नगर निगम होशियारपुर के कमिश्नर ज्योति बाला मट्टू भी मौजूद थे। पंजाब सफ़ाई मज़दूर फेडरेशन और म्यूंसीपल मुलाज़िम एक्शन कमेटी पंजाब के प्रतिनिधियों ने सैशन के दौरान अपनी माँगें पेश की।
वित्त मंत्री हरपाल सिंह चीमा द्वारा स्थानीय निकाय विभाग से पिछली मीटिंग के बाद यूनियनों के मुद्दों को हल करने की दिशा में हुई प्रगति के बारे जानकारी ली गई। उन्होंने यूनियन नेताओं को विश्वास दिलाया कि पंजाब सरकार द्वारा उनकी माँगों के प्रति हमदर्दी से विचार किया जा रहा है और जायज माँगों को जल्दी हल करने का भरोसा दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि पंजाब सरकार अपने नगर निगमों के मुलाजिमों की भलाई को यकीनी बनाने के लिए वचनबद्ध है और उनकी माँगों और मसलों को समय पर हल करने के लिए वचनबद्ध है।
इन मीटिंगों के दौरान म्यूंसीपल मुलाज़िम एक्शन कमेटी पंजाब की नुमायंदगी रमेश कुमार (संयोजक), कुलवंत सिंह सैनी (सरप्रस्त), गोपाल थापर (सह-संयोजक), और अशोक तारवान (सह-संयोजक) ने की। पंजाब सफ़ाई मज़दूर फेडरेशन की नुमायंदगी नरेश कुमार (प्रधान), जुगिन्दरपाल (उप प्रधान), गोपाल कृष्ण (चेयरमैन), राकेश और राज हंस ने की।
