05 जून 2026 को देहरादून में सरकारी कार्य में बाधा पहुंचाने और कॉलेज स्टाफ के साथ मारपीट करने के आरोप में पुलिस दूरसंचार शाखा में तैनात उपनिरीक्षक महेश कंडवाल को तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित कर दिया गया है। यह कार्रवाई वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक (एसएसपी) देहरादून द्वारा मामले का संज्ञान लेने के बाद की गई।
जानकारी के अनुसार, 05 जून 2026 को पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज पित्थूवाला, देहरादून में नियुक्त स्टाफ के साथ मारपीट तथा उनके सरकारी कार्य में बाधा उत्पन्न करने की घटना सामने आई थी। घटना की सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस प्रशासन ने मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए जांच शुरू की। प्रारंभिक जांच में आरोपों को गंभीर पाया गया, जिसके बाद एसएसपी देहरादून ने पुलिस दूरसंचार शाखा में कार्यरत उपनिरीक्षक महेश कंडवाल के खिलाफ तत्काल निलंबन की कार्रवाई की।
पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार, सरकारी कर्मचारियों के साथ अभद्र व्यवहार, मारपीट और सरकारी कार्य में हस्तक्षेप किसी भी परिस्थिति में स्वीकार्य नहीं है। मामले की विस्तृत विभागीय जांच भी शुरू कर दी गई है, जिसके आधार पर आगे की अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
पुलिस विभाग ने स्पष्ट किया है कि सेवा नियमों के उल्लंघन और अनुशासनहीनता के मामलों में शून्य सहिष्णुता की नीति अपनाई जाएगी। घटना की निष्पक्ष जांच सुनिश्चित करने के लिए संबंधित अधिकारी को जांच पूरी होने तक निलंबित रखा गया है।
