राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू 20 जून, 2025 को राजपुर रोड स्थित ऐतिहासिक राष्ट्रपति आशियाना परिसर की 132 एकड़ भूमि में अत्याधुनिक सार्वजनिक पार्क की आधारशिला रखेंगी। राष्ट्रपति के अतिरिक्त सचिव डॉ. राकेश गुप्ता की अध्यक्षता में उत्तराखण्ड सरकार के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ आज राजपुर रोड स्थित राष्ट्रपति आशियाना में हुई उच्च स्तरीय बैठक में यह जानकारी साझा की गई। इस पार्क की डी.पी.आर. तैयार की जा रही है। पार्क का पूर्ण विकास होने के बाद माननीय राष्ट्रपति द्वारा 2026 में यह पार्क उत्तराखण्ड की जनता को समर्पित किया जाएगा।
अतिरिक्त सचिव डॉ. राकेश गुप्ता ने बताया कि उत्तराखण्ड की जनता के लिए खोला जाने वाला यह पार्क एक ऐतिहासिक परियोजना के रूप में काम करेगा, जिसमें विश्व स्तरीय सुविधाएँ, नवीन डिज़ाइन, टिकाऊ विशेषताएँ होंगी और यह हरियाली, स्वास्थ्य और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के लिए एक केंद्र के रूप में काम करेगा। यह पहल उत्तराखण्ड के लोगों के साथ नागरिकों के जुड़ाव को बढ़ाने के माननीय राष्ट्रपति के दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप है। उन्होंने कहा कि ये पहल भागीदारीपूर्ण शासन और समुदाय-संचालित विकास के प्रति माननीय राष्ट्रपति की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती हैं।
डॉ. राकेश गुप्ता ने सभी संबंधित विभागीय अधिकारियों से अपेक्षा की, कि पार्क की अवस्थापना सुविधाओं के विकास के साथ सड़क, बिजली, पानी, यातायात, पार्किंग, संचार, सुरक्षा, शान्ति व्यवस्था आदि से संबंधित व्यवस्थायें समय पर पूर्ण कर ली जाएं। उन्होंने बैठक में सभी अधिकारियों से पार्क के विकास तथा इसे और अधिक जनोपयोगी बनाये जाने के लिये अपने सुझाव भी देने को कहा। उन्होंने अधिकारियों द्वारा दिये गये सुझावों को तैयार की जाने वाली डी.पी.आर. में सम्मिलित किये जाने के निर्देश संबंधित अधिकारियों को दिये।
उन्होंने बताया कि देहरादून के हृदय स्थल, राजपुर रोड पर स्थित इस विशाल हरित क्षेत्र में अनेक आकर्षण युक्त सुविधाएं शामिल होंगी। जिसमें बहु-गतिविधि क्षेत्र, साइकिलिंग ट्रैक, विश्व स्तरीय खेल सुविधाएं, बच्चों के खेल क्षेत्र, पिकनिक लॉन, पैदल और जॉगिंग ट्रैक, वन प्रकृति पथ, जल सुविधाओं के साथ और कई अन्य आकर्षण भी यहां देखने को मिलेंगे।
डॉ. राकेश गुप्ता ने बताया कि यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कि पार्क का विकास वास्तव में देहरादून के लोगों की इच्छाओं और आकांक्षाओं के अनुरूप हो, इसके लिये जनता को पार्क के विकास में शामिल किए जाने वाले आकर्षणों और सुविधाओं पर अपने इनपुट साझा करने के लिए सादर आमंत्रित किया गया है। इसमें सभी प्रबुद्धजनों के भी सुझाव आमंत्रित किये जा रहे हैं। आधिकारिक राष्ट्रपति भवन की वेबसाइट पर एक सार्वजनिक फीडबैक फॉर्म नागरिकों को सुझाव और विचार प्रदान करने की अनुमति देगा जो अंतिम डिजाइन को आकार देने में सहायक होंगे। फॉर्म को इस लिंक https://rb.nic.in/ashiana पर 6 अप्रैल तक भरना है। इसके अतिरिक्त, क्यूआर कोड को स्कैन करके भी पेज तक पहुंचा जा सकेगा।
बैठक में डॉ. राकेश गुप्ता द्वारा देहरादून में 21 एकड़ के राष्ट्रपति भवन राष्ट्रपति आशियाना की प्रगति की भी समीक्षा की, जिसे इस साल 20 जून, 2025 को माननीय राष्ट्रपति द्वारा जनता के लिए खोला जाएगा। भवन के अलावा, परिसर में आगंतुक सुविधा केंद्र, घुड़सवारी, एम्फीथिएटर, कला प्रदर्शन, कैफेटेरिया, स्मारिका स्टोर अन्य काफी कुछ जनता को देखने को मिलेगा। उन्होंने राष्ट्रपति अशियाना में किये जाने वाले कार्यों को समय से पूर्ण करने के भी निर्देश सभी संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारियों को दिये।
इस दौरान बैठक में स्वाति शाही, निदेशक राष्ट्रपति सचिवालय, पीआरओ राष्ट्रपति सचिवालय कुमार समरेश, सचिव राज्यपाल रविनाथ रमन, जिलाधिकारी देहरादून सविन बंसल, अपर सचिव अभिषेक रूहेला, रीना जोशी, विनीत कुमार, अपूर्णा पाण्डे, वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक देहरादून अजय सिंह के साथ वन लोक निर्माण, पेयजल, परिवहन, विद्युत आदि विभागों के साथ केन्द्रीय लोक निर्माण विभाग के अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
