भारतीय नौसेना की पहली पहल, ऐकीमे 25 के बंदरगाह चरण का उद्घाटन भारत और तंजानिया द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से दार-ए-सलाम में किया गया। इस समारोह का संचालन तंजानिया के माननीय रक्षा और राष्ट्रीय सेवा मंत्री डॉ. स्टर्गोमेना लॉरेंस टैक्स और भारत सरकार के माननीय रक्षा राज्य मंत्री श्री संजय सेठ ने किया।
इस अवसर पर उपस्थित गणमान्य व्यक्तियों में रक्षा बल के प्रमुख, टीपीडीएफ, भारतीय नौसेना के नौसेना प्रमुख और तंजानिया में भारत के उच्चायुक्त शामिल थे, जिन्होंने द्विपक्षीय रक्षा संबंधों के महत्व को दोहराया।
