मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविन्द्र सिंह सुक्खू ने हिमाचल प्रदेश भवन एवं अन्य सन्निर्माण कामगार कल्याण बोर्ड के माध्यम से विदेशी भाषा के पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करने की संभावनाएं तलाशने के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने आज यहां एक उच्च स्तरीय बैठक की अध्यक्षता करते हुए कहा कि राज्य सरकार हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स विकास निगम (एचपीएसईडीसी) के माध्यम से कुशल युवाओं को विदेशों में रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए हर संभव सहयोग प्रदान कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि युवाओं को आवश्यक भाषा कौशल का ज्ञान प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से विदेशी भाषाओं के नए पाठ्यक्रम शुरू किए जाएंगे।
सुक्खू ने कहा कि विदेशों में रोजगार प्राप्त कर चुके हिमाचली युवाओं की सुरक्षा और कल्याण सुनिश्चित करने के लिए राज्य सरकार एक डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म भी विकसित कर रही है। यह प्लेटफॉर्म उनकी सुरक्षा और आवश्यकतानुसार सहायता उपलब्ध करवाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार युवाओं के लिए विदेशों में रोजगार के अन्य अवसरों की भी तलाश कर रही है ताकि युवाओं को बेहतर वेतन पैकेज मिल सके और वहां युवाओं का किसी प्रकार से शोषण न हो। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार एचपीएसईडीसी के लिए भर्ती एजेंसी का लाइसेंस प्राप्त करने में सफल रही है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने श्रम एवं रोजगार विभाग को निर्देश दिए कि विभाग की सभी प्रमुख योजनाओं का विवरण प्रभावी निगरानी के लिए मुख्यमंत्री डैशबोर्ड पर अपलोड किया जाए। उन्होंने जनजातीय विकास विभाग की विभिन्न योजनाओं की प्रगति की समीक्षा कर निर्देश दिए कि एफआरए से संबंधित सभी मामलों की स्थिति भी मुख्यमंत्री डैशबोर्ड पर अपलोड की जाए।
बैठक में उद्योग मंत्री हर्षवर्धन चौहान, राजस्व मंत्री जगत सिंह नेगी, अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव ओंकार चंद शर्मा, सचिव प्रियंका बसु इंग्टी, राकेश कंवर और आशीष सिंहमार, आयुक्त श्रम एवं रोजगार वीरेंद्र शर्मा और अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
