सूबे को मेट्रो सिटी बनाने हेतु राज्य सरकार निरंतर प्रयासरत है। मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने संबंधित अधिकारियों को पटना मेट्रो रेल परियोजना के निर्माण कार्य में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिये। उन्होंने कहा कि पटना मेट्रो रेल परियोजना का स्वरूप बेहतर ढंग से हमने तैयार करवाया है। इसके निर्माण कार्यों को लेकर हम लगातार अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया है। पटना मेट्रो रेल परियोजना को ससमय पूर्ण करें ताकि लोगों को आवागमन में सहूलियत हो।
नीतीश कुमार ने खराब मौसम को देखते हुए लोगों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि सभी लोग खराब मौसम में पूरी सतर्कता बरतें। खराब मौसम होने पर वज्रपात से बचाव के लिए आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग द्वारा समय-समय पर जारी किये गये सुझावों का अनुपालन करें। खराब मौसम में घरों में रहे और सुरक्षित रहें। उप मुख्यमंत्री-सह-कृषि मंत्री विजय कुमार सिन्हा के द्वारा औरंगाबाद जिला में किसान कल्याण संवाद-सह-युवा किसान समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि बिहार देश का पहला राज्य है जिसने लगातार 15 वर्षों से अधिक समय तक कृषि के क्षेत्र में ठोस योजनाएं बनाकर उन्हें ज़मीनी स्तर पर लागू किया। बिहार आज कृषि बजट के मामले में 20 करोड़ से बढ़कर 3600 करोड़ रुपये तक पहुंच गया है। धान, गेहूं, मक्का सभी में ऐतिहासिक उत्पादकता दर्ज की गई है। बीज प्रतिस्थापन दर के मामले में बिहार देशभर में मिसाल बन चुका है। पटना के जिलाधिकारी डॉ. त्यागराजन एस.एम. की अध्यक्षता में जनता दरबार का आयोजन हुआ। उन्होंने जनता दरबार’ में आये कुल 70 लोगों से मिलकर उनकी समस्याएं को सुनी तथा समाधान के लिए उचित कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिये। नालंदा के जिलाधिकारी कुंदन कुमार की अध्यक्षता में जिला कृषि टास्क फोर्स की समीक्षा बैठक हुई। उन्होंने संबंधित पदाधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि पशुपालन, मत्स्यपालन, गव्य विकास, कृषि, उद्यान, आत्मा, जीविका एवं मनरेगा विभाग आपसी सहयोग करते हुए एक साथ मिलकर धरातल तक के जरूरतमंद किसानों के हित में कार्य करना सुनिश्चित करेंगे। बेगूसराय के जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी-सह-जिलाधिकारी तुषार सिंगला की अध्यक्षता में आगामी बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव 2025 की तैयारियों को लेकर बैठक हुई। उन्होंने सभी को भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा जारी विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण हेतु गाइड लाइन के संबंध में अवगत कराते हुए इस कार्य को अच्छे से पूर्ण करने संबंधी दिशा-निर्देश दिये। साथ ही सभी कोषांग के नोडल पदाधिकारियों को अपने कोषांग अंतर्गत चुनाव कार्य को ससमय पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिये। खगड़िया के जिलाधिकारी नवीन कुमार द्वारा गोगरी प्रखंड व अनुमंडल क्षेत्र में विभिन्न विकास योजनाओं का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया गया। उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों को सख्त निर्देश दिया कि योजनाओं का लाभ समय पर लाभुकों तक पहुंचे, ये सुनिश्चित करेंगे। मुजफ्फरपुर के जिलाधिकारी सुब्रत कुमार सेन की अध्यक्षता में स्वास्थ्य विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक हुई। उन्होंने डेंगू की रोकथाम एवं बचाव हेतु सभी आवश्यक तैयारियां पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिये।
