राजधानी पटना को मेट्रो सिटी बनाने हेतु राज्य सरकार निरंतर प्रयासरत है। मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने पटना मेट्रो रेल परियोजना के निर्माण कार्य को लेकर अधिकारियों को कई महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि कार्ययोजना के अनुरूप पटना मेट्रो रेल परियोजना के निर्माण कार्य तेजी से पूर्ण कराएं। पटना मेट्रो का निर्माण कार्य पूर्ण हो जाने से लोगों को आवागमन में काफी सहूलियत होगी, उन्हें भीड़-भाड़ से छुटकारा मिलेगा।
नीतीश कुमार ने पटना रेलवे जंक्शन के पास मेट्रो रेल परियोजना को लेकर निर्देश दिया कि पटना मेट्रो निर्माण कार्य में तेजी लाएं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पटना मेट्रो रेल परियोजना का स्वरूप बेहतर ढंग से हमने तैयार करवाया है। पटना मेट्रो रेल परियोजना का कार्य ससमय पूर्ण हो ताकि लोगों को आवागमन में सहूलियत हो सके। पर्यावरण, वन एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्री डॉ सुनील कुमार की अध्यक्षता में विभागीय कार्यान्वयन को लेकर महत्वपूर्ण समीक्षा बैठक हुई। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को समयबद्ध, पारदर्शी और गुणवत्तापूर्ण कार्य निष्पादन के निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि “पर्यावरणीय संतुलन बनाए रखने के लिए विभागीय योजनाओं को ज़मीन पर प्रभावी ढंग से लागू करना अत्यंत आवश्यक है।” साथ ही उन्होंने पौधारोपण अभियान में तेजी लाने के भी निर्देश दिये। पटना के जिलाधिकारी डॉ चंद्रशेखर सिंह की अध्यक्षता में संभावित बाढ़, अगलगी, भीषण गर्मी एवं लू से बचाव को लेकर समीक्षा बैठक हुई। उन्होंने संबंधित पदाधिकारियों को सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित मानक संचालन प्रक्रिया (एसओपी) के अनुसार सभी तैयारियां सुनिश्चित रखने के निर्देश दिये। जहानाबाद की जिलाधिकारी अलंकृता पांडेय की अध्यक्षता में जनता दरबार का आयोजन हुआ। उन्होंने जनता दरबार में प्राप्त कुल 55 आवेदनों की जांच कर समाधान हेतु अग्रेत्तर कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिये। मोतिहारी के जिलाधिकारी सौरभ जोरवाल की अध्यक्षता में जिला बाल संरक्षण इकाई के कार्यों की समीक्षा बैठक हुई। उन्होंने परवरिश योजना एवं स्पॉन्सरशिप योजना के लाभुकों को शीघ्र सरकारी लाभ उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश दिये। भागलपुर के जिलाधिकारी डॉ नवल किशोर की अध्यक्षता में प्रस्तावित खेलो इंडिया यूथ गेम्स आयोजन हेतु समीक्षा बैठक हुई। उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों को कई महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश दिये। बक्सर के जिलाधिकारी अंशुल अग्रवाल की अध्यक्षता में आंतरिक संसाधन एवं राजस्व समन्वय समिति की समीक्षा बैठक हुई। उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों को आपसी समन्वय स्थापित कर कार्यान्वयन के निर्देश दिये।
