बहुचर्चित हनी ट्रैप कांड की आरोपी युवतियां पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ के पास की कथित सीडी जब्ती के लिए हाइकोर्ट पहुंच गई है।जमानत पर चल रही हनी ट्रैप कांड की आरोपी श्वेता विजय जैन और बरखा सोनी की और से हाई कोर्ट में दायर अपील में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ से सीडी- पेन ड्राइव जब्त करने की मांग की है।

बता दें कि पूर्व में इन्हीं आरोपी द्वारा धारा 51 में तहत इस ही मांग को लेकर निचली कोर्ट में दाखिल आवेदन खारिज हो चुका है। जिसके बाद अब इन दोनों ने हाइकोर्ट से अपील की है।

ज्ञात हो कि 2021 में मध्यप्रदेश के तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ ने अपनी सरकार गिर जाने के बाद पत्रकार वार्ता में दावा किया था कि उनके पास हरभजनसिंह की रिपोर्ट के बाद उजागर हनीट्रेप मामले से जुड़ी सीडी है।हालांकि एसआईटी ने कमलनाथ को उनके इस वक्तव्य के बाद तब ही नोटिस जारी कर सीडी उन्हें सौंपने के लिए कहा था लेकिन सीडी एसआइटी को नहीं मिली।

जिसके बाद कांड की आरोपियों ने निचली कोर्ट में कमलनाथ से उक्त सीडी जब्ती के लिए याचिका दायर की थी जिसे कोर्ट ने एसआईटी की आपत्ति के बाद खारिज कर दिया था।

जिसके चलते अब हाईकोर्ट में आरोपी श्वेता विजय जैन और बरखा सोनी ने अपनी याचिका में मांग की है कि कोर्ट विशेष जांच दल को आदेश दे कि नाथ के पास मामले से जुड़े जो भी सबूत व तथ्य, उससे जुड़ी सीडी या पेन ड्राइव है, जब्त करते हुए कोर्ट के सामने पेश करे। इसके बिना आरोप तय किया जाना अनुचित है।
