टाटा स्टील की विजय-टू खदान में सोमवार सुबह से ही झारखंड मजदूर संघ, बराईबुरू इकाई ने अपनी विभिन्न मांगों को लेकर खदान गेट जाम कर अनिश्चितकालीन आंदोलन शुरू कर दिया। आंदोलन के दौरान दूसरे वेंडर के अधीन काम करने वाले सैकड़ों ऐसे मजदूर, जो इस आंदोलन में शामिल नहीं हैं और ड्यूटी करना चाहते हैं, उन्हें भी खदान में प्रवेश करने से आंदोलनकारियों ने रोक दिया।
इससे गैर-आंदोलनकारी मजदूरों में भारी नाराजगी है। ड्यूटी से वंचित मजदूरों ने किरीबुरू पूर्वी पंचायत के मुखिया मंगल सिंह गिलुवा से संपर्क कर न्याय की मांग की। मंगल सिंह गिलुवा ने बताया, आज सैकड़ों मजदूर मेरे पास आए और कहा कि वे आंदोलन में शामिल नहीं हैं, केवल ड्यूटी जाना चाहते हैं, लेकिन उन्हें जबरन रोका जा रहा है, जो गलत है। आंदोलनकारियों की मांगें भले ही जायज हों, लेकिन ‘नो वर्क, नो पे’ सिस्टम में गैर-आंदोलनकारी मजदूरों को ड्यूटी से रोकना अनुचित है।
गिलुवा ने याद दिलाया कि पिछली बार भी आंदोलन के दौरान कंपनी ने मजदूरों को उस अवधि का वेतन नहीं दिया था, जिससे हर मजदूर को हजारों रुपये का नुकसान उठाना पड़ा। मजदूर काम करेंगे तभी कमाएंगे और खाएंगे, ऐसे में ड्यूटी जाने से रोकने का अधिकार किसी को नहीं है। मंगल सिंह गिलुवा ने जिला पुलिस प्रशासन और कंपनी प्रबंधन को चेतावनी दी कि 12 अगस्त को आंदोलन से दूर रहने वाले सभी मजदूर ड्यूटी के लिए खदान जाएंगे। यदि उन्हें रोका गया और टकराव या कोई अप्रिय घटना घटी, तो इसकी पूरी जिम्मेदारी कंपनी और पुलिस प्रशासन की होगी।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि या तो कंपनी और प्रशासन यह गारंटी दे कि गैर-आंदोलनकारी मजदूर घर पर रहें और उन्हें आंदोलन काल का पूरा वेतन दिया जाए, अन्यथा ड्यूटी पर जाने का शांतिपूर्ण रास्ता प्रदान किया जाए।
