मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने कहा है कि आज का दिन बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण हैं, क्योंकि आज भारतीय संविधान सभा के फाइनल प्रारूप समिति के अध्यक्ष बाबा साहेब डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर की जयंती है, जिन्होंने भारतीय संविधान के निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभायी।
डॉ. यादव ने कहा कि भारत को आजादी एक दिन में नहीं मिली। इसके लिये हमें वर्षों संघर्ष करना पड़ा। पृथ्वीराज चौहान, महाराणा प्रताप और छत्रपति शिवाजी से लेकर कई क्रांतिकारियों ने अपना सर्वस्व न्यौछावर कर वर्षों की गुलामी की बेड़ियों से देश को आजाद कराया। भारत का संघर्ष काल एक हजार वर्ष से भी अधिक पुराना है।
मुख्यमंत्री सोमवार को इंदौर में डॉ. बाबा साहब भीमराव अम्बेडकर जयंती एवं भारतीय संविधान सभा के 75 वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर इंदौर के रवीन्द्र नाट्यगृह में आम नागरिक शपथ विधि समारोह को संबोधित कर रहे थे। समारोह की अध्यक्षता नगरीय विकास एवं आवास मंत्री कैलाश विजयवर्गीय ने की।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित छात्र-छात्राओं को भारतीय संविधान की लोकतांत्रिक परम्पराएं, राष्ट्र की एकता और अखण्डता को अक्षुण्ण बनाये रखने की शपथ दिलायी। छात्रों ने “मेरा संविधान-मेरा भारत’’ के उदघोष लगाये। मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने छात्रों और प्रोफेसर्स के साथ संविधान विषय पर संवाद किया।
समारोह में जल संसाधन मंत्री तुलसीराम सिलावट, महापौर पुष्यमित्र भार्गव, डॉ. महेन्द्र सिंह, विधायक मधु वर्मा और रमेश मेंदोला, अक्षय कांति बम, सुमित मिश्रा, नरेन्द्र सलूजा सहित बड़ी संख्या में गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित थे।
