नेशनल स्कूल ऑफ़ ड्रामा रिपर्टरी कंपनी के लिए यह गर्व का पल था कि उन्होंने देश भर में ‘नशा मुक्त युवा के लिए विकसित भारत संकल्प अभियान’ के लॉन्च के दौरान एक दमदार नुक्कड़ नाटक (नुक्कड़ नाटक) पेश किया, जिसका उद्घाटन प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने किया।
इस परफॉर्मेंस को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, अलग-अलग राज्यों के गवर्नर, मुख्यमंत्रियों और देश भर में 28,000 से ज़्यादा जगहों से 1 करोड़ से ज़्यादा युवाओं ने वर्चुअली देखा। इस प्रोग्राम में 125 से ज़्यादा आध्यात्मिक संगठनों और हज़ारों संस्थानों ने भी हिस्सा लिया, जो नशा-मुक्त भारत बनाने के राष्ट्रीय संकल्प में एकजुट थे।
परफॉर्मेंस की तारीफ़ करते हुए, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि नाटक ने बहुत अच्छे से दिखाया कि कैसे नशे की लत युवाओं को फंसा रही है, इसका उनके जीवन और परिवारों पर कितना बुरा असर पड़ रहा है, और इस चुनौती से निपटने के लिए मिलकर किए जाने वाले संकल्प की ज़रूरत है। थिएटर के ज़बरदस्त माध्यम से, NSD रिपर्टरी ने जागरूकता, ज़िम्मेदारी और युवाओं के नेतृत्व में राष्ट्र-निर्माण का संदेश असरदार तरीके से दिया।
यह प्रोग्राम यूनियन मिनिस्टर मनसुख मंडाविया के गाइडेंस में भारत सरकार के यूथ अफेयर्स और स्पोर्ट्स मिनिस्ट्री की एक पहल थी।
नेशनल स्कूल ऑफ़ ड्रामा, भारत सरकार के कल्चर मिनिस्ट्री और उसके सेक्रेटरी, विवेक अग्रवाल का भी लगातार सपोर्ट और हौसला बढ़ाने के लिए दिल से शुक्रिया अदा करता है।
